Sakhawat Centre distributes scholarships in Kishtwar | KNO

Sakhawat Centre, a Srinagar based NGO, today distributed Rs 87000 as scholarship to 29 students of different schools of Kishtwar who have already qualified the merit cum means scholarship test conducted by Sakhawat center unit Kishtwar under the guidance of Dr B A Mintoo and Prof Faisal Mushtaq Kichloo . The simple but impressive function held in the conference hall of B.Ed college where SSP Kishtwar Abrar Choudary was the chief guest and Dr. A H khan(Principal B.ED college) was the guest of honour whereas programme was presided over by Ghulam Mohuiddin sheikh, District administrator Sakhawat Center kupwara and Mir Ashraf,secretary Sakhawat center Jammu and Kashmir was special guest. SSP kishtwar Abrar Choudhary and Prof. Faisal Mushtaq Kichloo(district administrator Kishtwar) while speaking threw light on the importance of teacher in the society and their role and also suggested the steps for providing quality education. Certificates of excellence were also presented to the topper students who bring laurels in 8th and 10th class examinations conducted by JK Board and vote of thanks was presented by Naeem ul haq Waza.
